Kyiv, Dnipro River, Ukraine · Panoramic photograph

A moment when daylight has already begun to disappear, yet night has not fully arrived. Above the Dnipro, the sky holds the last traces of pink and violet twilight while the bridge gradually comes alive with warm points of light. A long exposure softens the surface of the river, allowing golden and crimson reflections to dissolve into the water. The monumental structure of the bridge, dark silhouettes of trees, and almost surreal evening colours reveal Kyiv suspended between two states — the movement of day and the stillness of night. This photograph is less about architecture itself than about that brief interval when a familiar city suddenly becomes almost unreal.
