Between Shores

Kyiv, Dnipro River, Ukraine · Panoramic photograph

Two monumental structures cut across the space above the water, converging in perspective against the final light of day. The weight and geometry of steel stand in striking contrast to the delicate transition of the sky — from deep blue to warm gold and the subtle pink glow of the horizon. In this work, the city itself nearly disappears, leaving only its essential elements: structure, light, water, and distance. The bridges become more than part of an urban landscape; they emerge as symbols of movement and connection — between two shores, between day and night, between industrial strength and natural stillness. The saturated palette and strong graphic composition give the photograph an almost painterly quality. Presented at a large scale, the work acquires a powerful architectural presence, becoming a defining visual element within a contemporary interior.
